The hype this album was building from its four singles was unreal. It's finally here.
G.O.O.D. Music's first collaboration album, with the names in their group, how could they go wrong? Although being a solid album, with the hype that the album had behind, the end result was a lackluster performance. The album itself left something to be desired.
To begin, the album only gave us twelve tracks. On top of that, we had already heard the four singles plus "Don't Like". This leaves seven new tracks. Not a generous amount for a collab album.
Most listeners were expecting a verse or two from Q-Tip, more from the newly signed Kid Cudi, and countless other things.
Don't get me wrong, the album is a solid album. I just had my expectations a lot higher.
Absolutely something you should hear.
Cruel Winter coming next...?
